Solving Quadratic Equations by Factoring

Solving Quadratic Equations by Factoring

Author: Aaron Roberts

We will learn to factor quadratic equations y=ax+bx+c with a leading coefficient and to solve quadratic equations by factoring.

You will take each quadratic equation, make sure it is equal to zero, factor it down to two binomials, set each binomial factor equal to zero and solve for the variable in each factor.  This will give you your two answers.
