Temperate Broad Leaf Forests

Author: Nathan Lampson

Temperate broad leaf forests are biomes with cool mornings and warm days.  Trees in temperate broad leaf forests shed their leaves every winter.  With 50 centimeters of rainfall each year, temperate broad leaf forests can support massive trees.

The mammals found in these forests are species like chipmunks, black bears, and deer.  In the winter, most mammals hibernate and bird species migrate out of the area.
