Standard: 3.E.1.1 Recognize that the earth is part of a system called the solar system that includes the sun (a star), planets, and many moons and the earth is the third planet from the sun in our solar system. 

Objective: Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the 8 planets in the Solar System according to the position of where they revolve around the sun. Students will be able to place the planets in their correct order by using a song, props, and playing a game.
