Author: Youth USA
Description:
  • Engage young learners in Positive Youth Development.
  • Create Lecture Media to support individual, on-demand Christian Education.
  • Engage learners in developing humanities curriculum from historic Christian values.

The W.O.R.D. (World Organized for Rhetorical Discipline) is a media tutorial developed from a published needs assessment.  The Christian Recorder is the oldest existing black periodical in America, and the only one in the United States whose existence dated before the Civil War.  The elected editor's call for a "Great Awakening" signals new possibilities for integrating historic values with appropriate technologies to produce positive outcomes for historically disadvantaged youth.   Training in media production and development of Project-Based Learning curriculum envisions new opportunities for engaging lifelong learners in positive youth development.
