Trigonometric Ratios

Where do we use Trigonometric Ratios

Trigonometric ratios can be used to determine the distance an airplane travels as it is taking off,

or the distance a skier travels as they ski down a mountain It is used in navigation to find the distance of the shore from a point in the sea.

Trigonometric ratios can also be used in oceanography in calculating the height of tides in oceans,

and Architects use trigonometry  to calculate structural load, roof slopes, ground surfaces and many other aspects, including sun shading and light angles.
