Author: Lawrence Pizzi

After watching the video, you will be able to tell the differences among infinitives used as nouns, adjectives and adverbs.

We have been studying verbals. So far we have looked at participles and gerunds. In this lesson, we will learn about the third and last verbal, the infinitive. We have learned that participles are part verb and part adjective. we have also learned that gerunds are part verb and part noun. We saved infinitives for last because they can be part verb and either part noun, part adjective or part adverb.
