Circle:  a closed curve

Radius: The distance from any point on a cirocle  the center of the circle.  In math, radius = r

Radii:  the plural form of radius

Diameter:  The distance between two points on a circle, through the center of the circle.  In math diameter = d

 

Formula

r a d i u s space left parenthesis r right parenthesis space equals space d over 2 space o r space d divided by 2
d i a m e t e r space left parenthesis d right parenthesis space equals space r space cross times 2
