Whole group discussion: Students will share favorite techniques and questions with an elbow partner. Then as a whole group, we will address any remaining questions about the techniques we have explored.


Guide by the side
: In class, students will practice the techniques shown in the video, step-by-step and plan for a new watercolor painting, using at least 3 techniques learned.

Preview of next project: Students will plan and sketch ideas for a painting, in which they will use a minimum of 5 of the techniques we have explored in today's lesson.
