I am originally from a small town called Vacherie in Louisiana. I received my bachelor’s degree in education from the University of New Orleans and after teaching high school math for 4 years, returned to UNO for a Master’s Degree in Mathematics. I then began my PhD work at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and finally completed that in 1989.
I have taught an online elementary statistics course for St. Leo University (Florida) for several years. I am currently employed as an instructor in the mathematics department at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minnesota, where I teach a variety of intro level mathematics course from developmental to college algebra.
