My educational background began with a BS in Physical Science Education and I have since received an MS in Education and I am licensed to be a K-12 Principal and Superintendent in Minnesota. I have been teaching since 1993 and have taught physical science, applied science, chemistry, physics, college chemistry, and college physics. I currently teach physics, chemistry and eCIS Physic by Inquiry (a class from the University of Minnesota) at Plainview-Elgin-Millville High School in Plainview, MN.

I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in chemistry from Purdue University and worked as a food and pharmaceutical chemist for a little less than four years before deciding to go into education. I then earned a Master's Degree in education from Indiana University and began teaching AP/IB/ACP chemistry, physics, regular chemistry, and ICP (integrated chemistry and physics). I have now been teaching for over 15 years. I am an adjunct professor of chemistry through Indiana University at Bloomington, Indiana teaching C105/C125 and C106/C126 to Indiana high school students for credit. I regularly tutor high school and college students in chemistry and physics throughout the school year and summer.
