I am currently teaching Algebra I at Mooresville High School in Mooresville, NC. I have been teaching for 10 years, 8 of which have been at MHS. I received my undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and my Masters degree in Administration at Gardner-Webb University. I also received my National Board Certification in 2011. I began my career in education as an 8th grade Math and Language Arts teacher at Satatesville Middle School. Four years after moving to MHS, I was introduced to technology and the 1:1 classroom. It is because of my experience at MHS that I have grown to love and implement the idea of a flipped classroom. I have been "flipping" for a year now and can't imagine any other method of instruction for my students.
