My name is Kristin Pontarelli and I am a Spanish teacher at East Greenwich High School in East Greenwich, RI. I currently teach Spanish 1, 2, 4 and 5. I received my undergraduate degree in Spanish from the University of Delaware. I also received my Masters degree from the University of Delaware in Spanish Language and Literatures (concentration in Peninsular Literature). While doing my graduate work, I was fortunate enough to be a visiting scholar and I taught English for Specific Purposes at la Universidad de Granada, in Granada, Spain. I first became interested in flipping my classes when I saw a Sophia webinar hosted by Crystal Kirch. I started slowly and in one month was fast and furiously making tutorials and not looking back! I love to incorporate my tutorials, Google Forms, Google Voice and other authentic language resources in my daily routine. I started a blog at kpontarelli.blogspot.com, in which I detail my journey through my flipping experience. I have worked hard to flip my classes, but I can't go back! I see such benefits from flipping my classes and now wouldn't do it any other way! I hope you find my tutorials useful! Kristin
