I received a Bachelor's degree in Biology from St. Ben's. I also hold a 9-12 Life Science license and have taught 10th grade Biology in the past, as well as 9th grade physics and 11th and 12th grade Physical Science. However, I am currently in an admin position at a Minneapolis Charter School.
Whether delivering credit education in the financial world, or teaching English as a second language, I have greatly enjoyed the challenge of creating learning environments. The best learning environments are personalized. So as a teacher in the corporate world, I was lucky to have small class sizes. Most teachers are not so lucky, and they need tools to help create dynamic lessons that reach varying abilities and learning styles. As Sophia grows, the best content will emerge, as will the best teachers. What a powerful idea! So now if you're a teacher who needs ideas, a parent unable to help with homework, or a student who is not connecting with their classroom teacher, Sophia is here.

I am just an average Midwestern guy spreading some knowledge about the human body. I received my B.A. from the University of Wisconsin Superior and my M.A. from the College of St Scholastica. Right now. The classes I teach are: anatomy & physiology, pathophysiology, medical terminology, medical law & ethics, kinesiology. I started making these videos as supplements to the classroom a few months ago and have many more to make. In my spare time I play table tennis for the St Adalberts Table Tennis Club (SATTC) and also for the Duluth Table Tennis Club (DTTC). I also like to run, bike, swim, cook and read Stephen King novels when I get a chance.
