Malia is a former middle school teacher who earned her Bachelor’s Degree in education from St. Norbert College, De Pere, WI. In order to engage her students more, she pursued and earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from Marian University, Fond du Lac, WI. After adjuncting with Marian University, she accepted a full time position as an assistant professor in the MA Ed Program. Continuing her love of learning, she pursued an Educational Doctorate from Pepperdine University where she is currently a doctoral candidate. Currently she is an assistant professor at Concordia University Irvine, teaching in the educational technology Master’s program. She has presented at several conferences nationwide including, FETC, ISTE, and CUE.
