As a lifelong Minnesota educator, I've had the unique opportunity to work as a teacher, principal, and superintendent in four different metro P-12 school districts prior to a state education official role followed by university level teaching and consulting. I'm a career educator with 30+ years of experience in education leadership roles, including current work as a self-employed consultant to senior executives & a University faculty member mentor for doctoral learners, preceded by serving as an assistant commissioner for a state education agency and P-12 school administrator positions such as school superintendent, assistant superintendent, high school principal, high school teacher. My education & training includes the Ph.D degree, both an M.S. and B. S. degree, subsequent to earning an A. A. degree. I'm a six year national examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award Program, including serving as a senior examiner, team leader, and judge for the state level quality award program. I enjoy also mentoring school administrators enrolled in the Minnesota Principals' Academy.
