I am a counselor at Century College and has worked in the Minnesota State Colleges and University system for close to 15 years. In addition to meeting with students one-on-one, I have taught classes in career development, leadership development and college success/first year experience. I have spent the last five years helping develop and implement the GPS LifePlan both on campus and across the state through the Office of the Chancellor. This past year, has included helping develop versions of the GPS LifePlan for military, secondary, and workforce audiences.
I am a graduate of North-Hennepin Community College, earned my B.A. degree in psychology at the University of Minnesota, where I also completed my M.A degree in Educational Psychology: Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology. My professional interests include using technology through online learning, supplemental support, and expanding flexible options to access services and resources for students and others seeking career and life planning opportunities.
