I earned both a BS and MS in Business Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I have 26 years of experience as an instructor for the School District of Belleville. My middle school and high school teaching responsibilities currently include Computer Concepts, Computer Applications, Digital Communications, Professional Design and Desktop Publishing, Web Design and Development, and Personal Finance. In addition to these courses, I have experience teaching Business and Personal Law, Accounting, and Focus on Careers. I also teach two online courses offered through the WEA Learning Academy and Cardinal Stritch University entitled Implementing Web 2.0 Tools in the PK-12 Classroom and Online Teacher Certification, K-12.
I earned National Board Certification in 2001 and am a Globally Certified Career Development Facilitator. I was the recipient of the 2004 Wisconsin Business Education Association K-12 Outstanding Business Educator Award.
To stay abreast of current technologies, I have earned several industry certifications, including Google Apps, IC3, MOS Word Expert, MOS Excel, and Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) Associate. Most recently, I have completed coursework through Plymouth State University and Cardinal Stritch University focused on Teaching and Learning Online and Collaborative Instruction.
