My name us Melissa Massey and I am happy to be your child's teacher for the next two years! I began my college career with a Major in Early Childhood Education. I actually graduated college with a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Archaeology with a minor in both Psychology and Sociology. I earned a Master Degree in Environmental Sustainability with a focus on Biology. I am currently a PhD. student at Concordia University Majoring in Teacher Leadership and Higher Education. As an educator I worked in PPCD, pre-k inclusion teacher, kindergarten behavior program, and a kindergarten program for children with Autism. I then moved up to teach Junior High School. I have loved each subject and grade I have taught. I have worked in Education for thirteen years. I am certified EC-6 Generalist, Special Education EC-12, and ESL EC-12. I have worked in Archaeology teaching at the collegiate level and I work in Archaeology during my summer break.
