Dr. William A. Jenkins is currently a Division Director of Technology & Testing, Interim High School Principal, and has taught all grade levels from K-12 in history, technology, and health education for the past 11 years. He co-authored a high school newsletter course and is an Educator and IT professional with over ten years of K-12 and IT Management/Leadership experience.
Dr. Jenkins' doctoral topic, “Catalyst for Change: An Action Research Study Using Job-Embedded Professional Development to Integrate Technology in a Rural School District”, focuses on changing teachers perception about integrating technology into the classroom.
The findings of his research indicate teachers are more adept, comfortable, and proficient at using
technology as a learning tool to increase student engagement and achievement when the training
is job-embedded and specific to their needs.
