English Composition I reviews
This course has improved my writing skills.
great course, very straight forward
This course provides amazing tutorials and I appreciate the thorough feedback in my graded essays. I gained new insights on my writing and communication.
loved the person who graded most of my essays. Just didn't enjoy writing them:(
It was too long of a wait for essay review and grading. Thank you.
I learned alot from this course. It was easy to follow and I was able to finish it at my own pace. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is needing to take it.
This was a great course! I thoroughly enjoy the way these classes are set up and the professor gave me great feedback throughout my essays.
Not a bad way to knock the rust off. Best of the English Composition courses offered.
At first when doing all touchstones assignments such as the Narrative, Compare/Contrast and Argumentative essay the grader was quite fast in grading them as I sent them all at once, however they were quite lazy in the grading and just skimmed threw my paper. For the last 2 Informative essays it took about 8 days each for them to be graded, they purposely gave the lowest grade they could possibly give me without failing me, even though for the feedback section they gave excellent reviews. For the informative draft they also did not even bother to read the whole assignment, they gave up half way threw and did not leave any corrections for me to work with for the final revsison, they also said I didnt have criterias that I obviously had. At times you can tell they just copy and pasted the same feedback and then just stick their name at the bottom in a different font, I passed but graders such as (Nicole) on sophia need some serious adjusting.
Yay! I was scared to do this but it wasn't that bad! 10/10 would recommend
The course was awesome and i truly learned a lot, especially my writing style and type of writer i would like to strive for.
This course was really helped me improve my writing skills, I learned a lot and really enjoyed it!
The teacher gave very good feedback, curriculum was helpful. Took me about 2 weeks to finish, grading can take a couple days. The samples helped me a lot to understand how I should form my essays and what the teacher was looking for in an essay. Pretty easy class!
Great course. You will learn a lot about yourself.
Feel the touchstone require to much for such little grades
Course was informative. It took a while for essays to be graded but Sophia receives a ton of essays a day so I’m not complaining.
Great course. Kinda long but that is to be expected because of the essays needing to be graded. I learned A LOT about writing in general. Definitely improved my writing skills.
All the papers are too long. Aim for teaching to get the most in the least amount of words, not forcing people to write 1,000 words on something. Other than that, the course is fine. Oh, and if you are going to reference an essay in a test question, have the part there, or a direct link to it. That is all.
I am so glad that my counselor introduced me to Sophia. The video tutorials were so helpful and having the ability to replay the tutorials help with my style of learning.
This course helped me become a better writer and understand the rules of writing.
